What exactly is the Madhuri Method?
The Madhuri Method is at the forefront of Yoga Teacher Training and Practice because it is a systematic formula for providing sustainable yoga practise that addresses and incorporates the ancient principles and philosophy of Ayurveda, the world’s oldest holistic healing system and yoga’s sister science.
Gone are the days when we could avoid incorporating Ayurvedic wisdom into our sadhana; a seasonal approach that considers climate, time of day, time of year, and how to bring balance for deep healing, energetic realignment, and spiritual empowerment is vital.
Every Madhuri Method class incorporates Ayurvedic wisdom into asana, pranayama, chanting, mudra, savasana, and meditation, leaving students feeling uplifted and harmonious.
The Madhuri Method provides you with time-tested, step-by-step blueprints for teaching your Ayurvedic yoga class, as well as sharp discernment and skill to build your own Ayurvedic classes and work one-on-one with people.
Why should you learn to teach the Madhuri Method?

Why should you study with Madhuri?
Madhuri has been practising yoga for 20 years and teaching full-time for nearly 15 of those years. She has owned a yoga studio, taught in teacher training programmes, and been a guest speaker at Wanderlust, the Vancouver, Victoria, and Toronto Yoga Conferences, as well as NAMA (National Ayurvedic Medical Association), Bellyfit Conferences, and the Vancouver Yogathon. She has led retreats, workshops, and classes in Canada, the United States, England, India, Mexico, and Turkey.
Madhuri has been a part of the Langara College Yoga Teacher Training faculty since its beginning in 2009, and has helped to build the programme. Madhuri has a gift for encouraging and coaching students to become greater teachers than they ever imagined possible.
Her expertise and experience as a teacher of teachers, a Clinical Ayurvedic Practitioner (CAS), and a Bio-Energy Healer enable you to be guided skilfully and gracefully ahead with the wisdom of both of these art forms.
Madhuri’s love and dedication to both yoga and Ayurveda, as well as the growing need in the world of yoga for classes that consider the alchemy of the physical, mental, emotional, and energetics to bring sustainable and deep healing through greater awareness, acceptance, and love, inspired this teacher training.
