Teacher training duration
After receiving registration from HR manager, you will need to declare your intention to become a yoga teacher. This can be done either at the time of application or after attending the 2-week Pre-Training Program that is also offered by the company.
Once registered as a student, you can sign up for one of our 3-month (GYT)or 6-month (RYT)training programs. As part of the teaching curriculum, there is a ten-day workshop sequence prior to graduation.
Students who graduate successfully lead an eight-hour practice between sessions, which includes about an hour each of meditation and discussion. Each session focuses on different topics such as awareness, flow style breathing, mindfulness, philosophy and anatomy.
A typical day of class consists of no more than 15 minutes of lecture and review, followed by 30 minutes of experiential learning and 5 minutes of discussion. Weekends are devoted to homework, study tools and preparing presentations for upcoming classes.
Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a certification document and letter stating your credentials as a yogin.
