Yoga for Eczema

Human skin is the most distinct and intricate structure of the body. Its outermost layer is made up of dead cells that are regularly expelled from the body. However, it is via this outer layer that evidence of one’s vitality and good health can be detected.

We all strive to keep our skin healthy and beautiful, but it is easy to forget that healthy skin only represents healthy tones and values. If you are not healthy on the inside, your skin will suffer as well. As a result, there is no more effective technique than yoga to achieve healthy skin and eliminate its diseases, because yoga improves your whole health.

How does yoga help to reduce eczema? – How Does Yoga Aid Eczema?

Skin health cannot be considered apart from the rest of the body. Diet, digestive functions, liver and circulatory health all have a direct impact on skin health. Skin diseases cannot be corrected unless the liver and intestines are totally cleaned of metabolic waste.

Yoga therapy is frequently used to improve skin health by influencing digestion and circulation. This is because skin diseases are frequently coupled with a larger elimination, circulatory, or metabolic issue. So, in order to restore the skin, these must first be treated. It is not sufficient to reduce skin illnesses with medications and lotions because they only provide temporary comfort and do not provide a permanent cure. In yoga, there are five strategies for treating eczema.

Yoga Asana for Eczema Relief – Yoga For Eczema Treatment

Surya Namaskar is extremely effective in the treatment of eczema. Do this until your entire body begins to sweat. When this occurs, all toxins are expelled from your body, and your body, particularly your digestive and circulatory organs, is purified from within.

However, if your physical ability does not enable you to perform more Surya Namaskar, then do not exceed your capacity. You can do more Surya Namaskar as your strength and stamina improve. Remember not to dry the perspiration with a towel, but rather to let it dry on the body throughout the funeral.

Aside from Surya Namaskar, asanas that massage the endocrine system, thyroid, and parathyroid glands should be practised. Sarvangasana, Halasana, and Janushirshasana are a few examples.

Pranayama for Skin Issues – Pranayama for Skin Issues

Every morning, perform Bhastrika, Kapalbhati, and Anolom-vilma pranayama. Kapalbhati Pranayama eliminates toxins from the respiratory system, as does Anulom-Vilom Pranayama. Pranayama raises the oxygen level in the lungs, which aids in nerve regeneration to a large extent.

Pranayama techniques can include antarkumbhaka (holding the breath in) and bahirkumbhaka (holding the breath out). Keep in mind that both of these are challenging workouts that should not be attempted at first. Do this only under the supervision of a guru.

Pranayama practise can also incorporate Kumbhaka’s lava maha bandha (all three bandhas combined: Jalandhara, Uddiyana, and Moola). It is also a challenging task that takes a long time to master. However, if you execute it correctly, you will reap numerous rewards.

When you have a solid basis in asana and pranayama for your eczema, you can progress to Shatkarma.

Shatkarma will help with eczema treatment – Shatkarma for Eczema Treatment

The six kriyas of hatha yoga, known as the Shatkarmas, are extremely potent. Neti, Kunjal, and Laghu Shankh Prakshalan should be performed on a daily basis. A whole conch shell should be performed at the start of total treatment, once under the supervision of a guru.

Avoiding eggs, wheat products, tomatoes, eggplant, and black pepper is also advised. If at all feasible, eat sattvik cuisine. Sattvik diet will keep your body light and clear of pollutants.

Pay great attention to the following:

1. Keep in mind that tranquilly from yoga practise comes only with consistent practise and gradually.
2. Asana does not cause joint pain; thus, during practise, use body support devices, pillows, and other equipment as needed.
3. Don’t put too much emphasis on your physical ability. If the pain intensifies, stop doing yoga immediately and consult a doctor.
